MADELEINE THE BALLET SWAN BIRD
The second project required to design a 3D character: a humanoid bird and made it animate in ballet walk cycles. Software used are Blender for modeling and animation process, with Adobe Substance Painter for texturing process.
In this project, I take inspiration from the swans that are dancing beautifully on the lake and the ballet dancers dancing in the opera houses. Combining them, I create a character that manifests the beauty of the flocks and also brings adorableness to its own characters. The character is described as a white female bird, wearing a feathery tutu with wide wings, as well as black and white for the main tone. With it animated as dancing ballet, the character brings a sense of strength, power, elegance, and femininity, as it both brings the versions of black and white swan.
